JOB DESCRIPTION |
|
|
|
Main Duties:
- Provide telephone and written support of a technical and non–technical nature to UTV Internet customers and subscribers
- Assist with telephone and written sales enquiries
- Assist in the administration and development of computer equipment used in the provision of Internet services and internal office equipment
- Keep abreast of developments in the IT and telecoms industry – especially those related to the provision of Internet services
- Work closely with other technical and non-technical staff to further develop these skills
- Maintain an up-to-date record of all enquiries and support calls
- Perform out-going customer service and sales related calls
- Perform other duties as directed.
Education:
- Minimum 3 GCSEs or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 1 year’s experience within a customer service environment
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skill
- Good problem solving skills
- Good technical knowledge of the range of Microsoft Office Applications and the Internet
Aptitudes:
- Customer focused
- Able to use own initiative
- Able to meet tight deadlines and deal with pressure
- Patience
Other:
- Able to work a roster to include evenings and weekends
