UTV Talk was successfully launched in August 2004. This innovative product is the first telecoms offering of its type in the UK or Ireland. UTV Talk offers absolutely free evening and weekend calls from anywhere in Ireland to anywhere in Ireland or anywhere in the UK.
This very competitive product is aimed at residential customers throughout Ireland. The key features are as follows:
Free Evening and Weekend Calls
10% Discount on Peak call charges for Local and National
10% Discount on International calls
10% Discount on Minimum call charges
5% off Mobile Calls
The main requirement for the product is that customers have an existing BT or Eircom line and UTV Talk will bill the consumer the same line rental charge. All of the pricing is based on the latest incumbent pricing as of 1st September 2004.
The main benefit of the product is a single bill for consumers so we can charge for the line, the calls and any Internet Services as one monthly amount. The consumer has flexibility to pay using credit cards, debit cards or direct debit.
